Eliminate biases and move toward diverse teams
The employment process is the main step towards diversity and inclusion (gender, race, ethnicity, religion, etc.) and normally includes the following steps: writing a job description; advertising the position; reviewing and shortlisting; assessment; interview; and decision making.
We aim at reducing possible biases before the assessment phase, especially at the shortlisting step. Conscious and unconscious discriminations may happen first in the shortlisting phase, where few applicants should be selected only based on their qualifications. DivERS assists you by:
- Providing a systematic approach for eliminating possible biases in criteria (e.g. using HR supervision).
- Improving the employment quality via reducing biases regarding gender, nationality, etc. and hence, focusing only on the applicant qualifications.
